Description

Daily painless recurrent passage of 3 or more large unformed stools, for >4 weeks, with onset between 6 and 36 months. The child is normally active and growing and there is no failure to thrive (FTT) (if caloric intake is adequate) or passage of stools during sleep.
Also known as chronic nonspecific diarrhea, toddler’s diarrhea, and irritable colon of childhood
