Sclerotherapy of intraoral hemangioma.

Abstract

Because hemangiomas of the oral cavity are susceptible to masticatory trauma, they require therapeutic intervention. Nonsurgical eradication of the lesion was achieved with the use of injections of the sclerosing agent sodium tetradecyl sulfate.
