- Distinct Doppler echocardiographic patterns of elevated left ventricular filling pressure in acute decompensated heart failure and AMI-related cardiogenic shock: a simultaneous Doppler-hemodynamic study. [Journal Article]Cardiol J. 2026; 33:e00226084.CJ
- CONCLUSIONS: ADHF and AMI-CS exhibit distinct Doppler filling profiles alongside differences in invasive filling pressure and cardiac remodeling. These findings support contextual interpretation of Doppler indices during bedside hemodynamic assessment of critically ill patients. The diagnostic value of syndrome-specific interpretation requires independent validation.

- Recommendations on the use of a leadless dual-chamber pacemaker. [Review]
- Leadless cardiac pacemakers (LPs) represent a significant advancement in cardiac pacing by eliminating the risks associated with traditional transvenous devices. Although single-chamber LPs have been in clinical use, the recent development of dual-chamber systems, such as AVEIR DR, offers synchronized atrial and ventricular pacing without the complications associated with transvenous hardware. De…

- One-time versus staged multivessel percutaneous coronary intervention in patients with non-ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome: a systematic review and meta-analysis. [Systematic Review]
- CONCLUSIONS: For NSTE-ACS patients with multivessel disease, multivessel revascularization in a single procedure may reduce repeat revascularization compared with staged PCI, but the evidence remains limited.

- Adenosine and ATP differentially control osteogenic gene expression patterns in a cardiac valve cell line. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: Purinergic ligands and receptors directly regulate VIC osteogenic differentiation and apoptosis in vitro without exogenous inflammatory stimulation. Modulation of the ATP-Ado axis may represent a therapeutic target to slow CAVD progression.

- Dual antithrombotic therapy with dabigatran and ticagrelor in patients with acute coronary syndrome and non-valvular atrial fibrillation undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (ADONIS-PCI): protocol for a randomized controlled pilot trial. [Journal Article]Cardiol J. 2026; 33:e00226073.CJ
- CONCLUSIONS: ADONIS-PCI is among the first randomized evaluations of a reduced-dose long-term ticagrelor strategy combined with dabigatran in patients with AF and ACS undergoing PCI. The trial addresses an important evidence gap in the selection and dosing of P2Y12 inhibition when aspirin is discontinued early in this high-risk population.

- Transcatheter aortic valve-in-valve implantation for failed surgical aortic bioprostheses using the Navitor platform: early outcomes in a consecutive single-center cohort. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: Aortic THV-in-SHV with the Navitor platform was associated with acceptable discharge hemodynamics, low rates of clinically relevant PVL, and favorable early safety according to VARC-3. Residual gradients were driven primarily by surgical valve size despite the intra-annular design.
