- French validation of the short version of the ASA questionnaire: An exploration of the socio-technical imaginaries and cosmology of Socially Interactive Agent evaluation. [Journal Article]Encephale. 2026 Sep 24. [Online ahead of print]E
- CONCLUSIONS: This study contributes to bridging the gap between the evaluation frameworks of HCI and the clinical frameworks of psychiatry, toward a more integrated understanding of digital relationality. Recognizing and interrogating the underlying socio-technical imaginaries and cosmology beyond the ASAQ is essential for any future adaptation of the ASAQ within mental health contexts.

- Sexual craving as a core process in dysregulated sexual behaviors: Psychometric validation of the Short Scale of Sexual Craving (3SC). [Journal Article]Encephale. 2026 Sep 24. [Online ahead of print]E
- CONCLUSIONS: The 3Sc demonstrates preliminary psychometric support as a brief, process-centered, and non-moralistic screening tool for sexual craving across heterogeneous DSB. These findings support a reorientation of DSB assessment, from classifying behavioral content toward identifying how sexual urges are regulated, and provide an empirical operator for examining addiction-informed hypotheses without presupposing their validity.

- Acceptability of artificial intelligence in psychiatry: A script-based and network analysis study among French psychiatrists. [Journal Article]Encephale. 2026 Sep 23. [Online ahead of print]E
- CONCLUSIONS: The acceptability of AI in psychiatry depends less on technical performance than on its alignment with professional values and clinical reasoning. AI is more readily accepted as a support to clinical judgment than as an autonomous system. These findings suggest that the successful integration of AI will require the development of epistemically compatible systems that preserve clinician autonomy and the therapeutic relationship.

- Are online poker players motivated to expend effort for monetary rewards? [Journal Article]Encephale. 2026 Sep 19. [Online ahead of print]E
- Motivation in poker players has typically been studied through monetary incentives rather than physical effort expenditure. In this exploratory study we hypothesized that poker players' protected decision-making performance might be associated with a heightened willingness to exert effort for monetary rewards. We recruited 69 participants: 49 online poker players, 20 classifieds as low-risk gambl…

- [Tailoring care to the mind: The emerging role of artificial intelligence in precision psychiatry. Part II: Validating, regulating and integrating artificial intelligence into care]. [Journal Article]Encephale. 2026 Sep 19. [Online ahead of print]E
- CONCLUSIONS: Moving from algorithmic performance to clinical innovation requires rigorous validation, continuous monitoring, robust governance, practical and social acceptability, and preservation of the therapeutic alliance. The future of precision psychiatry will depend less on autonomous systems than on the careful integration of artificial intelligence into shared, contextualized, and accountable clinical decision-making.

- CONCLUSIONS: Artificial intelligence may contribute to a more dynamic, multimodal, and individualized psychiatry. Its clinical value will depend on its ability to clarify meaningful patient trajectories without confusing predictive performance, causal understanding, and clinical relevance.

- Management of residual excessive daytime sleepiness in depression: An AFPBN consensus using the nominal group technique. [Journal Article]Encephale. 2026 Sep 19. [Online ahead of print]E
- CONCLUSIONS: This national consensus provides the first structured clinical framework for rEDS-dep. It supports recognition of rEDS-dep as a multidimensional syndrome requiring dedicated assessment, stepwise management and coordinated follow-up, while highlighting the need for observational, pathophysiological and interventional studies.

- Towards a new psychiatric ontology in the era of artificial intelligence. [Journal Article]Encephale. 2026 Sep 19. [Online ahead of print]E
- CONCLUSIONS: Artificial intelligence does not reveal the essence of mental disorders. Rather, it offers provisional maps that can reorganise clinical reasoning and research. Its contribution will be clinically and ethically valuable only if embedded within human validation loops, participatory governance, open standards and continuous revision.

- Social anxiety disorder and sexual dysfunctions: A systematic review of a bidirectional relationship. [Journal Article]Encephale. 2026 Sep 19. [Online ahead of print]E
- CONCLUSIONS: This systematic review in a neglected area suggests a potential association between social anxiety disorder and specific sexual dysfunctions, particularly premature ejaculation and genito-pelvic pain disorders. These preliminary findings call for routine bidirectional screening, integration of sexual health into psychiatric care, combined therapeutic approaches, and adapted pharmacological strategies.
