- Influencing factors for early miscarriage after frozen-thawed euploid blastocyst transfer in patients with intramural uterine fibroids. [Journal Article]Fertil Steril. 2026 Jul 14. [Online ahead of print]FS
- CONCLUSIONS: In patients with intramural fibroids undergoing euploid single blastocyst transfer, early miscarriage is associated with larger diameter of the uterine fibroid and poorer ICM quality.

- Effect of blastocyst-stage versus cleavage-stage strategy on cumulative live birth rate in assisted reproductive technology: a systematic review and meta-analysis. [Review]Fertil Steril. 2026 Jul 10. [Online ahead of print]FS
- CONCLUSIONS: Evidence from good-prognosis RCTs and unselected observational cohorts indicates that blastocyst-stage and cleavage-stage strategies result in comparable overall CLBRs. A modest benefit of the blastocyst-stage strategy in women undergoing a limited number of embryo transfers cannot be excluded, but further adequately powered trials are warranted.

- Endogenous progesterone guided timing of natural cycle frozen embryo transfer and reproductive outcomes in a large multicenter cohort in the United States. [Journal Article]Fertil Steril. 2026 Jul 10. [Online ahead of print]FS
- CONCLUSIONS: Endogenous progesterone-based timing of NC-FET, with embryo transfer performed two days after serum P4 reaches ≥5 ng/mL, was not associated with a statistically significant difference in live birth rates compared with programmed or other established natural cycle protocols. This strategy represents a feasible alternative for NC-FET timing, and permits salvage of a natural cycle that might otherwise be cancelled because of missed LH surge detection.

- Perceived stress levels and associated stressors in patients undergoing planned oocyte cryopreservation. [Journal Article]Fertil Steril. 2026 Jul 08. [Online ahead of print]FS
- CONCLUSIONS: By integrating quantitative and qualitative findings, this study provides a nuanced understanding of how stress is shaped by financial, procedural, occupational, and emotional factors across the oocyte cryopreservation process. These insights may inform more tailored pre-cycle counseling, strengthen patient-centered support infrastructure, and guide the development of targeted interventions to improve the emotional and psychological well-being of planned oocyte cryopreservation patients.

- Diagnosis and treatment of luteal phase deficiency: a Committee Opinion. [Journal Article]Fertil Steril. 2026 Jul 07. [Online ahead of print]FS
- Luteal phase deficiency (LPD) is a clinical diagnosis associated with abnormal luteal phase length of ≤10 days. Potential etiologies of LPD include inadequate progesterone duration, inadequate progesterone levels, or endometrial progesterone resistance. Luteal phase deficiency has been described in association with medical conditions, but also in fertile, normally menstruating women. Although pro…

- Confronting complexities of uterus transplantation: Balancing Innovation, Risk and Access. [Review]Fertil Steril. 2026 Jul 04. [Online ahead of print]FS
- Uterus transplantation (UTx) has evolved from experimental procedure to an increasingly established infertility treatment for women with absolute uterine factor infertility. Despite procedural progress, UTx remains a very complex infertility treatment. Here, we examine key complexities and challenges that will shape the future of UTx. Donor-related considerations include selection criteria for bo…

- Optimizing the therapeutic donor insemination cycle. [Review]Fertil Steril. 2026 Jul 04. [Online ahead of print]FS
- Therapeutic donor insemination (TDI) is a widely utilized and effective fertility treatment in which decisions around cycle management decisions aim to optimize pregnancy outcomes while balancing cost, access to care, and patient burden. Key aspects of care, including timing of insemination, monitoring strategies, use of ovulation induction and luteal phase support, are often guided by institutio…

- Hormonal and metabolic effects of the administration of oral low-dose 17-β-estradiol (0.2 mg) in patients with Functional Hypothalamic Amenorrhea (FHA): A Retrospective Pilot Study. [Journal Article]Fertil Steril. 2026 Jul 04. [Online ahead of print]FS
- CONCLUSIONS: Very low-dose oral estradiol administered according to pubertal induction protocols was associated with neuroendocrine and metabolic adaptations in women with FHA, particularly in those with greater baseline hypothalamic suppression. This pilot study supports the hypothesis that very low-dose oral estradiol may represent a useful strategy to facilitate functional recovery of the reproductive axis in women with functional hypothalamic amenorrhea. Prospective controlled studies are needed to confirm the se findings and evaluate long-term reproductive outcomes.
