- CONCLUSIONS: Early TMJOA is accompanied by a pathological hypoxic microenvironment in condylar cartilage. Stabilization of HIF-1α exerts a chondroprotective effect by transcriptionally activating Mdm2 to suppress p53 signalling, thereby reducing hypoxia-induced inflammation and matrix degradation. The HIF-1α/MDM2/p53 axis may serve as a promising therapeutic target for early-stage TMJOA.

- CONCLUSIONS: These findings highlight a gap in public health as infection prevention focused on handwashing while largely neglecting oral health education, which may leave lasting effects on adolescent oral health. Future pandemic strategies should integrate oral health education into hygiene programs to preserve essential long-term health behaviours.

- CONCLUSIONS: Salivary visfatin levels consistently decreased following NSPT across all nine studies reporting this outcome. However, this signal is based on very low-certainty evidence. These findings are therefore hypothesis-generating and should not be interpreted as establishing a causal relationship between periodontal inflammation and systemic metabolic dysregulation. Further methodologically rigorous studies are warranted to determine whether changes in salivary visfatin reflect a clinically meaningful systemic effect or represent a local inflammatory phenomenon.

- Study on the Effect and Mechanism of Synchronous Irrigation on the Cyclic Fatigue Resistance of Dental Rotary NiTi Instruments. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: Synchronous irrigation during root canal preparation can improve the dynamic cyclic fatigue performance of NiTi instruments by 22% to 126% and enhance the efficiency of root canal treatment. It functions by retarding the initiation and propagation of fatigue cracks and regulating phase composition through thermodynamic effects.

- Effects of Periodontitis and Jaw Morphology on Radiographic Dimensional Reduction of Anterior Mandibular Implants: A Retrospective Study. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: Moderate/severe periodontitis was independently associated with greater early vertical and horizontal labial radiographic dimensional reduction. Al-Faraje Class II/III jaw morphology was primarily associated with increased dimensional reduction at the crestal bone level. Preoperative assessment of periodontal status and alveolar ridge morphology is essential for risk stratification and personalized treatment planning to improve bone stability and clinical outcomes.

These findings support integrin-Notch crosstalk as a regulatory mechanism in hDPSC osteogenesis and provide a rationale for designing regenerative dental biomaterials that combine Notch-activating and adhesion-supportive cues.

- Dental Students' Experiences With an Artificial Intelligence Chatbot to Enhance Clinical Competence in Oral Diseases. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: Use of the AIDE chatbot platform was associated with substantial improvements in dental students' perceived clinical confidence and readiness for practice, along with high levels of user satisfaction. - CONCLUSIONS: The Saudi dental workforce exhibited persistent gender disparities over the past decade, including both horizontal and vertical gender segregation. Although these patterns appeared to become less pronounced over time, they still have important implications for workforce planning, service organisation, and access to dental care in Saudi Arabia.
