- Effect of Scanner Tip Size and Edentulous Arch Length on Intraoral Scan Accuracy in Kennedy Class I Cases. [Journal Article]Int J Comput Dent. 2026 Jul 16; 0(0):0. [Online ahead of print]IJ
- CONCLUSIONS: Within the limitations of this in vitro study, both Medit i900 and Dexis IS 3800W provided clinically acceptable accuracy for Kennedy Class I mandibular arches. Accuracy was influenced by scanner type, tip size, and scanned area. Larger tips improved accuracy in edentulous regions, whereas smaller tips provided advantages in narrow areas.

- Preferences for Digital Versus Conventional Prosthodontic Procedures After Standardized Pre-treatment Information: A Cross-Sectional Survey in Germany. [Journal Article]Int J Comput Dent. 2026 Jul 08; 0(0):0. [Online ahead of print]IJ
- CONCLUSIONS: In this convenience sample, respondents showed a clear preference for digitally supported procedures after receiving standardized pre-treatment information. However, these findings must be interpreted in light of potential framing effects of the survey materials and the limited representativeness of the sample. Socioeconomic disparities may also influence acceptance and access. Future studies should examine additional determinants of these preferences and evaluate how pre-treatment communication shapes decision-making in more diverse populations.

- The effect of multiple firings on the dimensional accuracy of monolithic multilayered zirconia crowns manufactured with different shades: An in vitro study. [Journal Article]Int J Comput Dent. 2026 Jul 03; 0(0):0. [Online ahead of print]IJ
- CONCLUSIONS: Repeated firings and darker shades increase the material's sensitivity to thermal treatments, causing statistically significant dimensional changes. However, these dimensional fluctuations remain clinically negligible. Clinicians can safely perform multiple corrective firings on these restorations, regardless of shade, without compromising their final fit.

- Standardized digital models for biomechanical analysis. [Journal Article]Int J Comput Dent. 2026 May 08; 0(0):0. [Online ahead of print]IJ
- CONCLUSIONS: This semi-automatic NURBS conversion workflow provides a practical digital approach for generating standardized tooth preparation and prosthesis models. Its relevance to digital and CAD/CAM dentistry lies in the precise control of preparation geometry, cement space, and prosthesis design, as well as in the generation of editable models suitable for biomechanical analysis, prototyping, and downstream CAD/CAM workflows.

- AI-assisted semi-automated segmentation for tooth volume analysis in postmortem CT imaging: evaluation of forensic applicability. [Journal Article]Int J Comput Dent. 2026 Apr 23; 0(0):0. [Online ahead of print]IJ
- CONCLUSIONS: Tooth volume derived from CT-based segmentations alone does not appear to be sufficiently discriminative for direct forensic identification. However, it may provide supportive information for demographic profiling when combined with additional morphological or segmentation-derived parameters.
