- Developing Stakeholder-Informed Content for a Mobile Application to Prevent Early Childhood Caries Using a Theory-Driven Approach: A Qualitative Study. [Journal Article]Int J Paediatr Dent. 2026 Oct 16. [Online ahead of print]IJ
- CONCLUSIONS: The study established a robust framework for a mobile health (mHealth) platform by providing stakeholder-informed content for a mobile app. This foundation might enhance future app development, providing SAG and evaluation.

- Prolonged Breastfeeding at 18 Months and Early Childhood Caries at Age 3 Years: A Population-Based Cohort Study From Japan. [Journal Article]Int J Paediatr Dent. 2026 Oct 13. [Online ahead of print]IJ
- CONCLUSIONS: Breastfeeding at 18 months was independently associated with higher odds of ECC at 3 years; reverse causation alone did not account for this. Findings support integrating targeted oral-health counselling, including avoidance of feed-to-sleep and post-feed oral cleaning, into breastfeeding support after infancy.

- Subclinical Radiographic Alterations in Maxillary Central Incisors Adjacent to Impacted Mesiodens Without Clinical or Radiographic Complications: A Cone-Beam Computed Tomography Study. [Journal Article]Int J Paediatr Dent. 2026 Oct 09. [Online ahead of print]IJ
- CONCLUSIONS: Impacted mesiodens without clinical or radiographic complications may be associated with subclinical radiographic alterations in adjacent MCIs, warranting consideration beyond routine clinical and radiographic assessment.

- Age-Associated Radiological Characteristics of the Gubernaculum Tract in Unerupted Maxillary Canines: A Retrospective, Computed Tomography Study. [Journal Article]Int J Paediatr Dent. 2026 Sep 28. [Online ahead of print]IJ
- CONCLUSIONS: The GT showed age-associated radiological differences in unerupted maxillary canines. The remnant-type GT may represent a distinct radiological appearance in patients aged ≥ 9 years.

- Association Between Hypomineralisation of Second Primary Molars and Tooth Agenesis. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: An association was found between HSPM and TA, particularly involving mandibular second premolars. Moreover, increased HSPM severity was linked to a higher risk of developing TA.

- Matrix Metalloproteinases Inhibitory Effects of Silver Diamine Fluoride: Influence of Time and Potassium Iodide, In Vitro. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: In this in vitro model, SDF demonstrated strong MMP inhibition, while SDF + KI showed lower numerical inhibition, suggesting that KI may attenuate the anti-MMP effect of SDF. SDF and SDF + KI produced similar increases in surface microhardness of non-cavitated enamel lesions.

- Adherence and Attrition in Public Fluoride Varnish Programs: A Mixed-Methods Systematic Review. [Systematic Review]
- CONCLUSIONS: Adherence and attrition in public FV programs are shaped by interacting determinants across child, family, provider, and system levels. Retention should be considered when designing and implementing these programs.

- Self-Perceived Confidence in Pediatric Dental Procedures Among Final-Year Dental Students. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: Final-year dental students reported high self-perceived confidence in routine pediatric dental procedures but lower confidence in technically demanding procedures. These findings may help identify areas where additional clinical experience and educational support could further enhance students' self-perceived confidence in pediatric dentistry.
