- Costs and imaging delays associated with acute reactions to contrast material: A single-center retrospective study. [Journal Article]J Am Coll Radiol. 2026 Oct 17. [Online ahead of print]JA
- CONCLUSIONS: Acute ICM and GBCA reactions contribute to additional estimated direct medical costs and imaging delays that increase with reaction severity. Our findings help quantify how these adverse events increase direct and indirect estimated direct medical costs and negatively affect Radiology workflow; providing decision makers with important economic and operational context.

- CONCLUSIONS: Successful outpatient follow-up of recommendations from radiology reports for incarcerated patients in ED/inpatient settings occurred in less than one in ten cases, lower than reported in broader populations. Dedicated closed-loop pathways may be needed to improve continuity for this vulnerable population.
