- CONCLUSIONS: The biomechanical behavior of roots after lateral perforation repair was jointly influenced by perforation size, anatomical location, and loading direction. Small perforations generally maintained favorable stress conditions following post-and-core restoration, whereas large perforations, particularly those located in unfavorable anatomical regions or subjected to nonaxial loading, remained mechanically vulnerable. These findings highlight the importance of post-and-core restorative design and occlusal management in improving the long-term prognosis of perforated teeth.

- CONCLUSIONS: Patients with CT exhibited bilateral occlusal imbalance, characterized by abnormal occlusal contact points on the affected teeth. Congenital morphological discrepancies represent the primary etiological factor for CT, whereas aberrant contact points further exacerbate crack progression. Early occlusal adjustment and crown-supported protection is recommended to compensate for underlying morphological abnormalities.

- CONCLUSIONS: Accessory canals are not rare anatomical structures in maxillary central and lateral incisors. Within the limitations of this study, maxillary central and lateral incisors had 80% of accessory canals within 5.57mm and 4.27mm of the root apex. Both groups had 80% of apical delta within 2.0 mm from the root apex. Clinicians should be aware of these anatomical findings when treating maxillary incisors, particularly during endodontic microsurgery.
