- Site-specific articular response to TNF inhibitor in axial spondyloarthritis: a European cohort study. [Journal Article]Joint Bone Spine. 2026 Jul 24; :106107. [Online ahead of print]JB
- In patients with psoriatic arthritis, articular responses vary by joint location with both tumour necrosis factor inhibitors (TNFi). It remains unknown whether this also applies to patients with axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA).

- The influence of symptom duration on flare risk after biologic DMARD withdrawal in axial spondyloarthritis: a meta-analysis of randomized withdrawal trials. [Journal Article]Joint Bone Spine. 2026 Jul 23; :106117. [Online ahead of print]JB
- CONCLUSIONS: Symptom duration did not consistently modify flare risk after bDMARD withdrawal in axSpA overall, although exploratory findings suggest a potential effect in early nr-axSpA.

- Clinical stability despite progressive fatty infiltration in patients over 50 years old with full-thickness rotator cuff tears. [Journal Article]Joint Bone Spine. 2026 Jul 21; :106116. [Online ahead of print]JB
- CONCLUSIONS: Patients with RCT had a favorable clinical outcome under conservative treatment, while a majority of RCT remained stable in those who remained in a 5-year follow-up. However, progression of fatty muscle infiltration seems an inexorable process, independent of clinical evolution.

- Interleukin-33 drives abnormal bone remodeling in ankylosing spondylitis via inhibition of osteoclast differentiation. [Journal Article]Joint Bone Spine. 2026 Jul 21; :106114. [Online ahead of print]JB
- CONCLUSIONS: These findings demonstrate that IL-33 is a key mediator that links systemic inflammation to local enthesopathy and pathological bone formation in patients with AS. Accordingly, the IL-33/p38/NFATc1 axis may represent a novel therapeutic target for modulating the pathological bone remodeling characteristics of AS.

- Cardiovascular risk assessment using the DAS28-GGT score in rheumatoid arthritis patients initiating JAK inhibitors: results from the MAJIK-SFR registry. [Journal Article]Joint Bone Spine. 2026 Jul 20; :106113. [Online ahead of print]JB
- CONCLUSIONS: This study supports the DAS28-GGT as a simple and practical tool to capture both cardiovascular risk and inflammatory activity in RA patients initiating JAKi. Prospective studies are needed to confirm its value for predicting cardiovascular events.

- Vitamin D supplementation during pregnancy: Position statement of the Groupe de Recherche et d'Information sur les Osteoporoses. [Journal Article]Joint Bone Spine. 2026 Jul 15; :106111. [Online ahead of print]JB
- CONCLUSIONS: In pregnant women, vitamin D supplementation may help reduce skeletal and extra skeletal risk, is associated with improved outcomes in some studies, with strongest evidence for skeletal outcomes and should be implemented as soon as possible during pregnancy. Further high-quality studies are however warranted to refine optimal dosing strategies and long-term outcomes.

- CONCLUSIONS: RA patients with UMDM, as compared with MDM, do not have higher odds of being prescribed b/tsDMARDs within the first two years after RA diagnosis.
