- Contemporary Chemotherapy Benchmarks for Molecularly Defined Advanced NSCLC: Reconstructed Individual Patient-Level Data of 22 Randomized Trials. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: Platinum-doublet chemotherapy yields remarkably consistent ORR and PFS across most advanced NSCLC with AGAs. These data provide contemporary molecularly defined benchmarks that may support interpretation of single-arm studies, development of external-control analyses, and future trial design in this rare population.

- Phenotype-Guided Surfactant Therapy in ARDS: From Failed Replacement to Targeted Biological Intervention, Narrative Review. [Review]
- Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) is associated with profound pulmonary surfactant dysfunction, yet clinical trials of exogenous surfactant have not demonstrated consistent outcome benefits in adults. This review reassesses these failures in light of current understanding of ARDS heterogeneity, surfactant biology and intrapulmonary drug delivery.

- Therapeutic Treatment with a Clinically Relevant Dose of Dexamethasone Reduces Pulmonary Vascular Leak in a Mouse Model of ARDS. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: This study provides a clear link between timing of dexamethasone treatment and viral burden, vascular leak, and mortality. 0.5 mg/kg dexamethasone affects clinically relevant parameters in the influenza model and has comparable exposure to human dexamethasone dosing; thus it is a more relevant dose to use in future mouse studies.

- NOP2 Exacerbates Pulmonary Inflammation in a Murine Model of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease by Inducing Neutrophil Extracellular Traps Mediating M1 Macrophage Polarization. [Journal Article]Lung. 2026 Oct 05; 204(1).LUNG
- CONCLUSIONS: NOP2 aggravates pulmonary inflammation in a murine model of COPD by promoting NETs and M1 polarization via the TUG1/TRIM27/EZH2 axis.

- Defining Early Recurrence in Resectable Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Using Post-Recurrence Survival. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: Recurrence within 12 months after resection of early-stage NSCLC is associated with worse post-recurrence survival, making this cutoff a useful indicator of early recurrence.

- GLP-1 Receptor Agonists in Pulmonary Hypertension: Mechanistic Rationale, Preclinical Evidence, and Clinical Knowledge Gaps. [Review]
- CONCLUSIONS: Current evidence supports a mechanistic hypothesis and a preclinical signal, not clinical efficacy in PH. Future cardiometabolic and HFpEF trials should incorporate standardized PH and right ventricular measures, and dedicated prospective studies with haemodynamic classification are required before GLP-1-based therapies can be considered for PH.

- Dupilumab Alleviates Pulmonary Fibrosis by Interrupting Profibrotic Macrophage-Fibroblast Crosstalk and IL4R/JAK/STAT Signaling. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: Dupilumab attenuates pulmonary fibrosis by disrupting profibrotic macrophage-fibroblast crosstalk and suppressing fibroblast activation. In preclinical models, dupilumab mitigated BLM-induced pulmonary inflammation and early-stage fibrosis in mice and inhibited the TGF-β1-Smad and JAK-STAT signal transduction cascades. These findings identify IL-4Rα-mediated signaling as a promising intervention point in pulmonary fibrosis and support further investigation of dupilumab as a candidate therapy for fibrotic lung diseases.
