- [Return to work after treatment for a ruptured intracranial aneurysms: a literature review]. [Review]Med Pr. 2026 Sep 15. [Online ahead of print]MP
- Rupture of a cerebral aneurysm and the resulting subarachnoid hemorrhage often lead to early and long-term neurological deficits. These impairments significantly limit daily functioning and hinder return to work. The ability and timing of return to work after interventional treatment depend on multiple clinical and individual factors. The aim of the study was to review evidence on return to work …

- The role of attitudes toward safety in driving behaviour: testing the mediation of intentional and unintentional driver errors. [Journal Article]Med Pr. 2026 Sep 01. [Online ahead of print]MP
- CONCLUSIONS: The findings suggest that attitudes toward safety may be more closely related to intentional violations than to unintentional driving behaviours. At the same time, the absence of indirect effects for mistakes, lapses, and inexperience, together with the presence of some direct associations with HEXACO traits, suggests that additional cognitive or self-regulatory mechanisms may be involved. Given the cross-sectional design, the results should be interpreted as correlational and require further verification in longitudinal and multi-method research. Med Pr Work Health. 2026;77(6).

- Accessibility of museum facilities for older adults in the context of contemporary architectural solutions: a case study of 3 museums in Cairo. [Journal Article]Med Pr. 2026 Sep 11. [Online ahead of print]MP
- CONCLUSIONS: Contemporary museums are becoming inclusive spaces that respond to the needs of diverse audiences, including older adults. This group is likely to represent the future of many institutions, including museums, as their primary visitors. Therefore, architectural solutions are not only innovative forms but also comfort-oriented approaches aimed at creating welcoming environments. Enhancing visitor comfort by reducing fatigue and using diverse means of communication may encourage engagement with museums and their collections. This is linked both to the development of technologies supporting ambitious architectural projects and to the creation of comfortable environments for the increasingly significant group of seniors, influencing museum design directions and the development of cultural tourism. - Universal design and the quality of residential architecture for people with limited mobility: case study. [Journal Article]Med Pr. 2026 Sep 01. [Online ahead of print]MP
- CONCLUSIONS: There is a need to further specify regulations regarding the adaptation of buildings to the needs of elderly people and others with disabilities. At the same time, the growing population of seniors should become an attractive target group for developers constructing housing in accordance with market principles. - Epidemiological surveillance of infectious diseases among the elderly in Lower Silesia. [Journal Article]Med Pr. 2026 Jul 31. [Online ahead of print]MP
- CONCLUSIONS: The findings highlight increased vulnerability of seniors, driven by diminished immunity and comorbidities, and underscore the need for targeted vaccination, systematic screening for STIs and other infections, and capacity building to meet rising demand for care among older patients. Spatial analyses point to higher risks in spa districts and call for more accurate surveillance of visitors. Improved digital integration of health surveillance systems will be critical for monitoring and responding to infectious threats in the elderly population. Med Pr Work Health Saf. 2026;77(4).

- [The significance of vitamin D for well-being and the prevention of selected diseases in elderly people: a narrative review]. [Review]Med Pr. 2026 Sep 16. [Online ahead of print]MP
- As civilization progress, the number of older people is constantly growing. Furthermore, they suffer a higher burden of comorbidity and polipharmacy, which has a significant impact on the overall well-being of people in this age group. Elderly people are at risk of vitamin D deficiency, which is necessary for the proper functioning of the human body by regulating the calcium-phosphate metabolism.…

- [Assessment of early myocardial ischemic areas in elderly people with anxiety disorders based on short SATRO-ECG recordings: a pilot study]. [Journal Article]Med Pr. 2026 Sep 16. [Online ahead of print]MP
- CONCLUSIONS: A significant impact of anxiety on the incidence of stable IHD in patients with GAD was noted. The analysis of SATRO-ECG measurements increases a diagnostic accuracy in detecting myocardial ischemic changes that are not possible to assess in the traditional way, and therefore may enable stratification of IHD, while increasing the usefulness of the standard ECG. - CONCLUSIONS: The identified deficits in the ability to cope with stress and data analytics limit managers; ability to adapt effectively to the volatile and unpredictable environment described by the volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity - VUCA and brittle, anxious, non-linear, incomprehensible - BANI concepts. It is necessary to modify management training programs by integrating psychological knowledge (coping with pressure) with the practical application of data in management, which will enable the building of sustainable organizational resilience in healthcare facilities. - Burnout is a multidimensional occupational syndrome characterized by emotional exhaustion (EE), depersonalization, and low personal accomplishment. Nurses are particularly vulnerable due to sustained physical, emotional, and organizational stressors. Physical activity (PA) and cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) have been proposed as protective factors; however, evidence remains inconsistent, and bur…
