- GPT-4o-assisted restructuring of emergency head-and-neck computed tomography angiography reports: evaluation of automated vs. manual processing strategies. [Journal Article]Neuroradiology. 2026 Oct 27. [Online ahead of print]N
- CONCLUSIONS: GPT-4o-B provided the best overall quality and high interpretability, with longer processing time. GPT-4o-A was more efficient but less comprehensive. Findings support GPT-4o as a human-in-the-loop tool to improve emergency reporting, not replace physician oversight.

- An immediate reperfusion sign might increase the likelihood of favourable outcomes in patients with intracranial atherosclerotic disease-related stroke who received stent-retriever-based thrombectomy. [Journal Article]Neuroradiology. 2026 Oct 27. [Online ahead of print]N
- CONCLUSIONS: In our respective cohort of patients, the presence of an IRS during stent-retriever-based thrombectomy appeared to indicate a higher rate of first-pass-effect and a 3-month favourable outcome in acute LVO stroke patients with ICAD.

- Double origin configurations of the posterior cerebral and posterior communicating arteries associated with anterior cerebral artery fenestration. [Journal Article]Neuroradiology. 2026 Oct 27. [Online ahead of print]N
- CONCLUSIONS: This case illustrates a rare coexistence of ACA fenestration with complex variants of the posterior circulation. These findings likely represent developmental variations, such as incomplete fusion or persistence of primitive vascular channels, rather than definitive arterial duplication. Recognition of such configurations using high-quality multiplanar and three-dimensional imaging is essential for accurate diagnosis and safe neurovascular intervention.

- Imaging features of pituitary Crooke cell adenoma: a 13-case series. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: CCA exhibits several imaging characteristics, particularly mild contrast enhancement and a tumor size-related T2-weighted signal pattern. Knosp grade 1 was the most frequent parasellar extension pattern. Reduced enhancement of the tumor-adjacent ICAW was observed in four cases with postoperative tumor progression; however, the clinical significance of this finding requires validation in larger cohorts with longer-term follow-up.

- Sylviocentral ratio: a novel magnetic resonance imaging marker for differentiating probable idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus from diffuse cerebral atrophy. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: The sylviocentral ratio is a practical, reproducible, and highly accurate MRI marker for differentiating pNPH from diffuse cerebral atrophy and may complement established imaging parameters in clinical assessment. Given the limited size of the age-matched cohort, validation in larger, ideally external cohorts is warranted before widespread clinical implementation.

- Real-world performance and misclassification patterns of deep learning for intracranial hemorrhage detection. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: While the Hevi AI algorithm demonstrates high sensitivity and an excellent NPV that support its utility in worklist prioritization, it exhibits specific neuroanatomical blind spots. Ischemic processes, vasogenic edema, and age-related structural changes are major sources of FP alerts. Furthermore, the algorithm systematically struggles to differentiate fine extra-axial boundaries, leading to over-labeling. Recognizing these specific failure patterns and geriatric variations is essential for safe clinical integration and accurate interpretation of AI-assisted neuroimaging.

- Summary cerebral small-vessel disease score mediates white-matter microstructural and perfusion changes in mild cognitive impairment: a diffusion kurtosis imaging and arterial spin labeling study. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: In CSVD-MCI, reduced CBF, higher cumulative lesion burden, and WM microstructural damage were linked in a tract-specific pattern. The summary CSVD score statistically accounted for part of the association between CBF and DKI-derived WM metrics in the SCR, supporting its role as an imaging marker that integrates vascular and structural injury.

- CT Perfusion in the differential diagnosis of glioblastomas and primary central nervous system lymphomas. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: CTP is a highly informative non-invasive quantitative imaging tool for the preoperative differentiation of glioblastomas and PCNSL. The inclusion of normalized perfusion parameters improves reproducibility and supports use in routine clinical practice and multicenter studies. CTP can be recommended whenever conventional CT and MRI fail to reliably distinguish these tumors.

- An enlarged nonfistulous artery mimicking an additional feeder in a pediatric pial arteriovenous fistula: an angiographic pitfall. [Journal Article]
- Pial arteriovenous fistulas (PAVFs) are rare high-flow vascular lesions requiring precise characterization of the fistulous angioarchitecture before treatment. We report a pediatric PAVF in which an enlarged artery adjacent to the fistula initially appeared suspicious for additional fistulous supply. Superselective angiography demonstrated normal cortical arterial arborization and parenchymal per…

- Diagnostic value of 3D pCASL perfusion in glioma grading according to the WHO 2021 classification: a retrospective study of 530 cases. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: 3D pCASL provides high diagnostic accuracy for differentiating grade 2 gliomas from high-grade gliomas and grade 2 from grade 3 tumors within the WHO 2021 framework, while remaining fully non-invasive and requiring no contrast agent.

- MR elastography and perfusion MRI characterize distinct biomechanical and vascular features of meningiomas. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: Perfusion did not differ significantly between MRE-defined high-stiffness and non-focal regions, and no significant stiffness-rCBV association was detected across ROI types. Perfusion MRI nevertheless demonstrated histological subtype-related differences not observed with MRE-derived stiffness, suggesting that the two modalities provide different, potentially complementary information about meningioma biomechanical and vascular features.

- Neuroimaging findings in hyperammonemic encephalopathy associated with sepsis-induced liver injury: a pilot case series. [Journal Article]
- Hyperammonemic encephalopathy (HE) is a severe complication of sepsis-induced liver injury (SILI), often associated with sepsis. However, its neuroimaging manifestations remain poorly understood. The aim of this pilot case series is to describe the brain MRI findings in patients with sepsis and HE.

- A multi-stage multimodal learning model for functional outcomes prediction in acute ischemic stroke. [Journal Article]
- Predicting functional outcomes in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) patients after endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) remains challenging due to the complex and dynamic nature of disease progression. Existing methods typically rely on single-stage imaging or limited multimodal fusion, failing to fully capture disease progression and cross-modal complementarity. To address this issue, we propose a multimod…
