- CONCLUSIONS: In the primary analysis, NLR was the only index that retained significance after adjustment for age, sex, and multiple testing, with higher values in MS-ON than in healthy controls. The sensitivity of several other indices to robust inference and the modest ROC performance warrant cautious interpretation and prospective validation.

- Pediatric conjunctival papilloma managed with staged multimodal therapy: a case report. [Case Reports]
- CONCLUSIONS: This case highlights the potential value of a staged multimodal strategy for managing multifocal conjunctival papilloma in children. Preoperative medical debulking followed by targeted surgical excision may help reduce the extent of surgery, preserve healthy conjunctival tissue, and achieve durable disease control. This approach may be particularly useful in pediatric ocular surface disease, where tissue preservation is an important consideration.

- Magnesium sulfate versus dexmedetomidine as adjuvants for peribulbar block: a GRADE-assessed systematic review and meta-analysis. [Systematic Review]
- CONCLUSIONS: Current evidence does not establish a clear efficacy or safety advantage of magnesium sulfate or dexmedetomidine as a peribulbar adjuvant. Apparent benefits for lid-akinesia onset, lid-akinesia duration, and time to first analgesia are sensitive to conservative statistical adjustment and should not be interpreted as definitive. The evidence base is small, heterogeneous, geographically concentrated, and generally low or very low certainty; adequately powered multicenter trials with standardized dosing and outcome assessment are needed.
