AbstractPURPOSE: This report presents a simplified and quick surgical method for correction of the prominent car.
PATIENTS AND METHODS: Fifty otoplasties in 29 patients were performed to reshape the antihelix. The technique was based on the Stenstrom method plus use of the Kaye suture.
RESULTS: No major complications were observed while using this method, and good aesthetic results were obtained.
CONCLUSIONS: This surgical technique represents an easy, rapid, and safe method to reshape the antihelix.
