AbstractChronic musculoskeletal pain is becoming increasingly common in young athletes. When these athletes do not respond well to standard treatments, for example physical theraphy and anti-inflammatories, other diagnoses must be considered, such as reflex sympathetic dystrophy, fibromyalgia, and/or overtraining syndrome.
