AbstractA 13-year-old girl with the complaint of severe mitral valve obstruction symptoms was diagnosed as having an unusually large left atrial tumor by echocardiography. The giant mass was surgically removed and the postoperative course was uneventful. Histologic examination confirmed the mass was a benign atrial myxoma.
