Abstract	Bullous systemic lupus erythematosus is a rare disease associated with subepidermal blistering and, in most cases, severe systemic manifestations. We describe a 19-year-old man with systemic lupus erythematosus who developed a bullous eruption along with a flare-up of systemic manifestations during the course of his disease and discuss the different forms of bullous lesions in patients with lupus erythematosus.
