Evaluation of Rubella IgG and IgM assays on the new VIDIA(R) instrument. Journal of clinical microbiology [J Clin Microbiol] Journal article

For Rubella virus IgG and IgM detection, VIDIA assays were compared to VIDAS(R), AxSYM(R) and LIAISON(R) on 419 sera. Only VIDIA produced sensitivity of 100% for IgG and IgM. VIDIA specificity was 98.4% for IgG and 99.8% for IgM, vs 100% and 99.3% of VIDAS. VIDIA IgG and IgM assays performed equally well.
