We report a case of WLCS after a 290 minute long laparoscopic sigmoid resection commenced in the Lloyd-Davies position. 27 hours after surgery, four-compartment fasciotomy was performed confirming the diagnosis of compartment syndrome. The patient was discharged with a limp, awaiting further follow-up. Surgeons must be able to diagnose WLCS as delayed treatment may result in severe neuromuscular dysfunction. | | Language | DAN | | Pub Type(s) | JOURNAL ARTICLE
