AbstractAbdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs) account for significant morbidity and mortality in adults. Because they are most often asymptomatic until rupture occurs, screening that allows early detection and management has been advocated. In this review, the authors examine evidence to support screening at-risk populations for AAAs and evaluate various screening methods.
