AbstractMany of us use and maintain files on more than 1 computer--a desktop part of the time, and a notebook, a palmtop, or removable devices at other times. It can be easy to forget which device contains the latest version of a particular file, and time-consuming searches often ensue. One way to solve this problem is to use software that synchronizes the files. This allows users to maintain updated versions of the same file in several locations.
