Chemokine (C-C motif) receptor 5 expression was examined longitudinally in 26 HIV-infected adults who initiated HAART. Long-term suppression of plasma HIV-RNA did not significantly influence chemokine (C-C motif) receptor 5 expression on T lymphocytes. Therefore, the activity of chemokine (C-C motif) receptor 5 antagonists should not differ before and following HIV suppression on HAART. | | Language | eng | | Pub Type(s) | Journal Article Research Support, Non-U.S. Gov't
