AbstractThe author presents a young patient presenting with lower gastrointestinal hemorrhage due to tuberculous appendicitis. Though an ileo-cecal region is the most frequent site of involvement of the intestinal tuberculosis, vermiform appendix involvement is rare. Moreover, intestinal tuberculosis is an uncommon cause of lower gastrointestinal hemorrhage. Therefore, bleeding from tuberculous appendicitis is a very rare presentation. In addition, the author demonstrates colonoscopic appearance of the tuberculous appendicitis.
