AbstractRenal transplantation could be associated with severe complications. Pneumothorax is a rare and severe complication among renal transplant recipients. The relationship between pneumothorax and post transplantation status, pulmonary infections or immunosuppressive treatment is controversial. We report the case of a young female with normal renal graft function who developed recurrent pneumothorax after three years of kidney graft.
