AbstractPreparation and physicochemical properties of liposome-incorporated tetracycline are described. Comparison of the effects of tetracycline hydrochloride in free and liposome-incorporated forms on enzymatic functions of the liver showed that immobilization of the antibiotic into liposomes protects liver cells from functional disturbances.
