Infections in immunocompromised patients have been described, including bacteremias and osteoarticular infections. Few pediatric cases have been described. We report a case of knee septic arthritis due to Roseomonas gilardii in a healthy adolescent following repair of a sports injury, with good response to doxycycline. The isolate was initially misidentified as Bordetella bronchiseptica, corrected later via 16S rDNA sequencing.
