It is characterized by moderate to severe abdominal pain, vomiting, and failure to thrive. Antral dysmotility after fundoplication and increased sympathetic over activity are 2 factors associated with this condition that make it difficult to treat. This paper proposes a management strategy using metoclopramide, celiac plexus blockade, and thoracic splanchnectomy.
