AbstractCroup is common in children but recurrent croup is unusual. A 4-year-11-month-old boy presented with recurrent croup. Physical examination revealed decreased breath sounds over left lower chest. Chest x-ray disclosed segmental atelectasis over left lower chest and a mass shadow over mediastinum.
