AbstractSix patients with pemphigoid and three patients with pemphigus foliaceus were successfully treated with topical corticosteroids. This was especially effective in cases of pretibial localized pemphigoid and in mild cases of bullous pemphigoid and pemphigus foliaceus with negative or low-titer circulating autoantibodies.
