- CEUS- versus US- and CT-guided Biopsy for Subpleural Lung Lesions: A Prospective, Multicenter Randomized Controlled Trial. [Journal Article]Chest. 2026 Oct 03. [Online ahead of print]Chest
- CONCLUSIONS: For SLL biopsy, CEUS-guided PLNB outperforms US- and CT-guided approaches in both diagnostic performance and procedural safety. CEUS guidance notably improves disease-specific diagnostic sensitivity for malignant subtypes and specific benign pulmonary disorders, serving as an optimal technique for clinical percutaneous lung biopsy.

- Normative ocular biometric profile of emmetropic Nepalese children: a hospital-based cross-sectional study. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: Emmetropic Nepalese children exhibit significant gender-related differences for most of the ocular biometric parameters; however, the magnitude of these differences varied, and clinically meaningful differences were primarily noted for axial length and white-to-white diameter. These findings establish normative biometric and topographical data for the Nepalese pediatric population.

- Multicentre, 2×2 factorial, randomised, open-label trial of neuromodulators and cough control therapy for refractory or unexplained chronic cough: the FORTITUDE trial protocol. [Journal Article]
- While clinicians commonly prescribe neuromodulators for the treatment of refractory or unexplained chronic cough, no trials have directly compared these treatments. Furthermore, although guidelines recommend non-pharmacological management involving physiotherapy and speech-language therapy, few trials have evaluated its effectiveness.

- An evaluation of didactic oncology curriculum coverage in U.S. schools of pharmacy. [Journal Article]Curr Pharm Teach Learn. 2026 Sep 17; 18(12):102804. [Online ahead of print]CP
- CONCLUSIONS: Although faculty-reported oncology curriculum coverage generally aligns with the 2019 ACCP Toolkit, potential gaps remain in select tier one topics and notable variability exists between programs. These findings provide a contemporary description of oncology curriculum coverage and may inform ongoing curricular review and discussion across pharmacy programs.

- Repurposing Anticancer Drugs in Parkinson's Treatment: Molecular Pathways Driving Neuroprotection and Therapeutic Advancement. [Review]
- Parkinson's disease (PD) affects 11.77 million people worldwide, projected to reach 17.27 million by 2035. Current dopamine replacement therapies provide symptomatic relief but lack disease-modifying effects. Drug repurposing offers advantages: reduced development time (3-12 vs 10-17 years) and costs ($40-80 million vs $1-3 billion). To examine the pathophysiological connections between cancer an…

- Association Between CYP2C19 Genotype and P2Y12 Reaction Units in Patients Receiving Clopidogrel After Acute Ischemic Stroke: A Prospective, Observational Study. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: PRUs appear to vary by CYP2C19 genotype in patients receiving DAPT after minor AIS or TIA, suggesting utility as a surrogate marker of clopidogrel nonresponse when genotyping is unavailable. However, PRUs were not associated with short-term clinical outcomes.

- CONCLUSIONS: In a real-world community setting using integrated imaging, robotic bronchoscopy demonstrated higher diagnostic yield and accuracy compared to a non-robotic platform. However, diagnostic success was primarily driven by effective tool-lesion alignment and real-time imaging rather than platform type or breath-hold utilization.
