- Hypothalamic-pituitary axis MRI findings in pediatric endocrine disorders: A retrospective study. [Journal Article]Endocrinol Diabetes Nutr (Engl Ed). 2026; 73(7):501781.ED
- CONCLUSIONS: MRI showed the highest diagnostic yield in MPHD and CDI. In IGHD, lower GH peak values may help guide selective imaging, while in CPP the lack of reliable predictors supports routine MRI. Multidisciplinary interpretation remains essential to contextualise incidental findings.

- A retrospective comparison of pharmacist-managed versus infectious-diseases managed travel health services at an academic medical center. [Journal Article]Am J Health Syst Pharm. 2026 Sep 10. [Online ahead of print]AJ
- CONCLUSIONS: Pharmacist-managed travel clinic achieved travel-related vaccine acceptance rates comparable to ID-managed clinics. Pharmacists more frequently recommended routine ACIP vaccines and prescribed traveler's diarrhea treatment. These findings suggest that pharmacist-managed travel health services under a collaborative practice agreement can deliver guideline-concordant care while possibly expanding institutional capacity.

- United States healthcare providers' views on pediatric meningococcal disease and vaccination. [Journal Article]Expert Rev Vaccines. 2026 Dec; 25(1):2721744.ER
- CONCLUSIONS: Most HCPs viewed infant MenB vaccination favorably but demonstrated knowledge gaps regarding IMD epidemiology and vaccine recommendations, underscoring the need for targeted education to optimize future IMD prevention.

- Shared evidence, different recommendations: a comparative analysis of Qdenga (TAK-003) dengue vaccine guidance for travellers across countries. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: Variation in Qdenga guidance reflects differences in how advisory bodies interpret shared evidence and manage uncertainty arising from data gaps and differences between trial populations and travellers. Additional data on vaccine effectiveness and clinical outcomes among seronegative travellers and older adults may help reduce uncertainty and support greater alignment of future recommendations. Regardless, transparency and shared clinical decision-making remain essential when discussing dengue vaccination with travellers.

- US healthcare professionals' knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding RSV disease and vaccination in adults during the 2024-2025 RSV season. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: Potential knowledge- and practice-related gaps remain regarding adult RSV disease and vaccination among US HCPs. Continued efforts are needed to enhance RSV-related education among HCPs and ensure eligible patients are able to access RSV vaccination.

- Healthcare professionals' perspectives and preferences regarding adolescent meningococcal disease vaccination in the United States. [Journal Article]Expert Rev Vaccines. 2026 Dec; 25(1):2696617.ER
- CONCLUSIONS: While HCPs were receptive to revisions that simplify the vaccine schedule, this was not without concerns. The adolescent vaccination platform is essential to ensure continued protection against IMD; any changes will require clear, evidence-based guidance.

- Recombinant zoster vaccine uptake and series completion among immunocompromised adults with cancer in the US. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: RZV uptake among RZV-naïve immunocompromised patients with cancers has been slow and suboptimal since the 2021 ACIP recommendation, but series completion is likely once initiated.

- Shared clinical decision-making for vaccination: A view through the lens of mid-adult HPV vaccination. [Journal Article]Hum Vaccin Immunother. 2026 Dec; 22(1):2698280.HV
- In the summer of 2019, the U.S. Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) updated its recommendations for HPV vaccination. The new recommendation regarding adults ages 27-45y (i.e., mid-adults) indicated that a "shared clinical decision-making" (SCDM) approach, rather than a routine recommendation, should be used. The Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) publication that describ…

- Influence of correlated vaccination behaviors on estimates of COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness in older adults - VISION network, October 2023 - March 2024. [Journal Article]Vaccine. 2026 Aug 30; 89:128891.V
- Test negative design studies allow for COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness (VE) estimation while minimizing selection bias from healthcare seeking and testing practices. However, failure to consider correlation between vaccination behaviors may result in biased COVID-19 VE estimates. Using different methods to account for potential correlation between COVID-19, influenza, and respiratory syncytial vir…

- CONCLUSIONS: The 2025 SCDM policy, absent structural safeguards, is projected to reduce perinatal HBV protection and widen health disparities over the next decade. A comprehensive multi-level intervention-combining standing orders, EHR-driven workflows, and CHW outreach-is necessary to offset projected harm. Policy revision alone is insufficient; protecting vulnerable populations requires fundamental redesign of healthcare delivery.

- Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination is a key strategy for preventing HPV-related cancers, yet series completion among U.S. adolescents remains below national public health goals. This study analyzed nationally representative data from the 2021-2023 National Immunization Survey-Teen (NIS-Teen) to describe recent patterns in HPV vaccination initiation and completion among adolescents aged 13-17 …
