- Manual therapy across the professional continuum: a comparative analysis of educational, accreditation, and specialty organizations. [Journal Article]J Man Manip Ther. 2026 Oct 07; :1-9. [Online ahead of print]JM
- CONCLUSIONS: MT is represented differently across PT organizations, consistent with their roles and levels of practice. These differences neither indicate deficient frameworks nor support a singular MT definition. Findings identify where conceptual differences emerge across the professional continuum, particularly between foundational MT and broader OMPT frameworks. Whether these differences influence how MT and OMPT are understood, taught, investigated, or applied warrants further study.

- Variability in the Length of Full-Time Clinical Education Experiences: The Relationship with Doctor of Physical Therapy Program Characteristics. [Journal Article]J Allied Health. 2026 Sep 18; 55(3):489-497.JA
- CONCLUSIONS: This study provides new evidence that indicates the number of CEE credit hours and the integration of CEEs into the didactic curriculum have the strongest relationships with CEE lengths. These findings highlight the relationship between curricular design and clinical education structure.

- Effects of partial replacement of sugarcane silage with Moringa oleifera silage on carcass traits and meat quality of lambs. [Journal Article]
- This study evaluated the effects of partially replacing sugarcane silage with Moringa oleifera silage on carcass traits and meat quality of lambs. Sixteen male Santa Inês × Dorper lambs (23.0 ± 2.00 kg; 6 months old) were assigned to either sugarcane silage (C) or a mixed silage containing sugarcane and M. oleifera (C + M; 50:50 on a dry matter basis) over a 75-day experimental period, including …

- Genetic mapping reveals QTLs associated with HLB response determined by Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus quantification in a Citrus sunki × Poncirus trifoliata segregating population. [Journal Article]
- Huanglongbing (HLB) is a devastating disease impacting citrus orchards worldwide. Identifying candidate genes and/or genomic regions that significantly influence plants' response to HLB is essential for breeding programs. Nevertheless, this remains a challenge, especially during the early stages of the citrus-pathogen interaction, when phenotypically distinguishing tolerant genotypes is not trivi…

- First chromosome scale genome of Acrocomia aculeata. [Journal Article]
- Acrocomia aculeata (macaúba) is an oil-producing palm with high potential for sustainable bioenergy in tropical regions. We present the first chromosome-scale, haplotype-resolved genome assembly for the species and the genus, generated with Oxford Nanopore, PacBio HiFi, and Hi-C sequencing. The assembly spans 1.94 Gbp organized into 15 pseudochromosomes (N50 = 143.43 Mbp; QV = 76.4), with two ful…

- [Modern Methods of Molecular Modeling of Aptamers]. [Review]Mol Biol (Mosk). 2026 May-Jun; 60(3):367-388.MB
- Aptamers are short single-stranded nucleic acid molecules with a unique ability to bind with high specificity andaffinity to a wide range of biomolecules, including proteins, viruses, and small molecules, due to the formation of tertiary structures, making them a powerful alternative to antibodies in biosensing, diagnostics, and therapy. Their advantages, such as high stability, the possibility o…

- The Dutch cardiomyopathy registry (DCR); rationale and registry design. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: The DCR will function as a national database, providing relevant information on epidemiology, demographics, natural history, diagnosis, and treatment. This will aid risk prediction and monitoring of new therapies. The DCR can identify patients who are eligible for future studies, including registry-based research.

- Flow-Through Aptamer-SERS Microfluidic Platform for Aflatoxin B1 Detection in Food Crops. [Journal Article]
- Mycotoxins are secondary metabolites produced by fungal species. Due to its high toxicity, Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) is one of the most hazardous mycotoxins found in various food crops. The ability to detect such a toxin is therefore important for the safe consumption and handling of large quantities of crops. For this, surface-enhanced spectroscopy provides the sensitivity to detect low concentrations…

- Unmanaged fishing gear, whether lost at sea or discarded on land, represents a significant source of marine litter and a growing challenge for waste management systems. Although global initiatives for the management of end-of-life fishing gear (EOLFG) are largely concentrated in the Northern Hemisphere, examples from the Global South remain limited. In Brazil, for instance, recent national and re…
