- Venetoclax-based Therapy Improves Outcomes across the Evolving Biology of t(11;14) Multiple Myeloma. [Journal Article]medRxiv. 2026 Sep 07.M
- CONCLUSIONS: Venetoclax-based therapy significantly improved overall survival in t(11;14) MM. Clinical benefit, defined by improved progression free survival, was greatest when venetoclax was administered earlier, preceding the emergence of transcriptomic reprogramming that reduces BCL2 dependency. These findings support transcriptomic biomarker-guided, subtype-specific venetoclax-based treatment strategies to optimize outcomes in patients with t(11;14) MM.

- Histological grading of tertiary lymphoid structures correlates with renal impairment and adverse outcomes in ANCA-associated glomerulonephritis. [Journal Article]Front Immunol. 2026; 17:1916074.FI
- CONCLUSIONS: High-grade intrarenal TLS appear to be associated with more severe renal impairment, aggressive histopathology, and poor kidney survival in this ANCA-associated glomerulonephritis cohort. The finding that high-grade TLS may be independently associated with ESRD, together with the exploratory TLS-integrated nomogram, suggests a potential role for TLS grading in risk stratification. However, these preliminary findings warrant validation in larger prospective cohorts before any clinical application can be recommended.

- A study on oral microbiome characteristics and differences in epilepsy adults with depressive symptoms based on 16S rRNA sequencing. [Journal Article]Front Microbiol. 2026; 17:1894254.FM
- CONCLUSIONS: This study utilizing 16S rRNA sequencing elucidates alterations in the oral microbiome associated with epilepsy and concurrent depressive symptoms. Significantly, the enrichment of Dialister is independently correlated with depressive symptoms following adjustment for confounding variables, indicating its potential as a microbial biomarker. Functional prediction analysis further indicated that the associated oral microbial alterations may involve innate immune-related functional characteristics, particularly the RIG-I-like receptor signaling pathway. These findings provide new clues for further investigating the potential association between oral microbiota and epilepsy with depressive symptoms.

- Smartphones in the classroom: power tool or source of distraction? Evidence from a cross-lagged panel study. [Journal Article]Front Psychol. 2026; 17:1831165.FP
- CONCLUSIONS: The role of mobile phones in education is neither a fixed "power tool" nor an inevitable "distractor," but rather depends on the dynamic interaction among technological perceptions, behavioral regulation, and learning contexts. The educational value of technology adoption should undergo a transformative process of "assessment," in which digital distraction serves as a critical gatekeeper. Educational practice should transcend the binary dilemma of "prohibition" versus "overuse" and focus on cultivating students' self-regulation skills and critical literacy in technology use, thereby advancing an educational philosophy of "teaching according to individual aptitude" in the digital age.

- Spatiotemporal distribution characteristics and disease burden of human brucellosis in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, 2014-2023. [Journal Article]Front Public Health. 2026; 14:1896637.FP
- CONCLUSIONS: Brucellosis prevention and control in Inner Mongolia should prioritize regions with moderate economic development. Veterinary and public health facilities should be strengthened to adapt to the ongoing transformation of animal husbandry. Targeted efforts should focus on expanding livestock vaccination coverage and optimizing protection protocols for occupationally exposed populations. Implementation of interventions in advance of the spring and summer epidemic peaks is vital to effectively contain disease transmission.

- Association between the alkaline phosphatase-to-albumin ratio and recorded early all-cause mortality within 90 days of admission in patients with heart failure: a retrospective cohort study in a Chinese population. [Journal Article]Front Cardiovasc Med. 2026; 13:1936612.FC
- CONCLUSIONS: Higher admission ln(APAR) was associated with recorded early all-cause mortality within 90 days of admission, but the association was modest, nonlinear, scale-dependent, and based on few events. Post-discharge estimates were directionally consistent but imprecise. External validation is required before APAR or any cutoff is used for clinical risk stratification.

- Case Report: Six infants with primary intestinal lymphangiectasia: clinical manifestations of refractory cases and preliminary stratified clinical management experience. [Case Reports]Front Pediatr. 2026; 14:1949058.FP
- CONCLUSIONS: Clinical manifestations vary greatly among infants with PIL. The concurrent occurrence of serous cavity effusion, serum albumin < 20 g/L and hypocalcemic convulsions is a prominent clinical feature unique to refractory cases in this small sample. We shared preliminary stratified clinical management experience based on our single-center observation, and further large-sample multicenter studies are needed to verify our findings.

- Development and preliminary validation of a fertility concept scale for Chinese post-00s college students based on thematic analysis. [Journal Article]Front Psychol. 2026; 17:1841927.FP
- CONCLUSIONS: This scale has preliminarily demonstrated good reliability and validity, complementing existing instruments in terms of dimensional completeness, population applicability, and cultural adaptability. Its development process also offers methodological guidance for scale construction targeting internet-active populations and sociopsychological constructs characterized by strong intergenerational variation. After further testing of the scale's external validity and cross-sample stability, this instrument can be utilized for dynamically monitoring the fertility concepts among post-00s college students and the exploration of the mechanisms underlying the formation of their fertility intentions.
