  • Long-term effect of early-life diet on rumen structure and function and selected blood parameters in sheep. [Journal Article]
    Animal. 2026 Sep 17; 20(11):101958. [Online ahead of print]Jamrogiewicz M, Przybyło M, … Górka PA
  • Early-life nutrition can program gastrointestinal tract development in ruminants; however, the extent to which these effects persist into later life is not fully understood. We hypothesised that early-life diet would have a lasting impact on rumen structure and function in sheep. Fifty-four male lambs were divided into two groups and fed milk replacer (MR) and either a mixture of meadow and alfal…
  • Nanopolysaccharides in agriculture. Advances, applications, and future prospects: a review. [Review]
    Discov Nano. 2026 Oct 09; 21(1).A Rasulov B, A Pattaeva MDN
  • Nanopolysaccharides (NPSs) constitute a rapidly advancing class of biodegradable and biocompatible nanomaterials with strong potential to support sustainable, climate-resilient agriculture. NPSs exhibit high surface area, tunable surface chemistry, and enhanced interactions with biological interfaces, enabling multifunctional roles across soil-plant-microbe systems. This review provides a functio…
  • BUN/Albumin Ratio in Preeclampsia: A Comparative Study of Seven Biomarker Ratios. [Journal Article]
    J Obstet Gynaecol Res. 2026 Oct; 52(10):e70518.Bademler N, Sayan S, … Mihmanlı VJO
  • CONCLUSIONS: An elevated admission BAR identifies preeclamptic women at higher risk of severe maternal and perinatal events, with performance comparable to that of UAR. Both BAR and UAR may serve as simple complementary bedside adjuncts to existing risk stratification tools in preeclampsia.
  • Integration of CURB-65 and CT Severity Score for Prognostic Prediction in Community-Acquired Pneumonia. [Journal Article]
Thorac Res Pract. 2026 Oct 09. [Online ahead of print]Gültekin Ö, Özçekici O, Arslantaş İTR
  • CONCLUSIONS: CURB-65 remained a strong and practical predictor of mortality and ICU admission in CAP. Mean CTSS provided additional prognostic information for mortality and ICU admission, but not for length of hospital stay. The combined mortality model did not significantly improve discrimination compared with CURB-65 alone, whereas the combined ICU model did significantly improve discrimination in predicting ICU admission.
  • High-performance and hemocompatible zeolite-modified PP/PU dialysis membranes for uremic toxin removal. [Journal Article]
J Biomater Sci Polym Ed. 2026 Oct 09; :1-30. [Online ahead of print]Karahaliloğlu Z, Hazer BJB
  • The development of hemodialysis membranes capable of simultaneously achieving efficient toxin removal and excellent hemocompatibility remains a major challenge. In this study, a novel dual-layer nanofibrous dialysis membrane was fabricated by combining a solution-electrospun polyurethane-oleic acid-polyethylene glycol (PU-OLE-PEG) top layer with a melt-electrospun polypropylene/zeolite (PP/Zeo) b…
