- Pediatric Tuberculosis: Knowledge, Perceptions, and Care-Seeking Practices Among Caregivers and Healthcare Providers in the Kabondo-Dianda Health Zone, Democratic Republic of the Congo. [Journal Article]J Multidiscip Healthc. 2026; 19:605418.JM
- CONCLUSIONS: This study identified important gaps in pediatric tuberculosis knowledge, perceptions, and care-seeking practices, particularly among caregivers. The findings suggest the need to strengthen community-based tuberculosis education, culturally appropriate risk communication, and continued capacity-building of frontline healthcare providers, while recognizing the descriptive nature of the study. Given the descriptive design and convenience sampling, the findings should be interpreted cautiously and cannot establish statistical associations or causal relationships.

- Cervical cancer screening uptake and its determinants among rural women in North Central Nigeria: a cross-sectional study. [Journal Article]Rural Remote Health. 2026 Apr; 26(2):10433.RR
- CONCLUSIONS: Knowledge of cervical cancer and its risk factors among rural women in North Central Nigeria remains poor, and uptake of screening services was profoundly low. Positive attitude, marital status, and good knowledge were key drivers of screening uptake. These findings highlight the need for context-specific health promotion programs, improved access to screening, and targeted education strategies in rural settings. Lessons from this study have broader implications for rural health systems globally, particularly in low-resource contexts where similar barriers persist.
