- Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction Using Femoral Cortical Button Fixation: A Case Series of Intraoperative Malpositioning. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: Malpositioning of femoral buttons during ACL reconstruction occurred in 3.5% of patients in this series. The techniques of intraoperative fluoroscopy and direct open visualization are encouraged to prevent malpositioning.

- Prospective Results of the Modified Glide Path Technique for Improved Syndesmotic Reduction During Ankle Fracture Fixation. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: The modified Glide Path technique is a simple method for ankle syndesmotic reduction. The technique has lower rates of malreduction compared with historical methods and may be useful for most operative syndesmotic injuries.

- Discovery of a neuromuscular syndrome caused by biallelic variants in ASCC3. [Journal Article]
- Activating Signal Cointegrator 1 Complex, Subunit 3 (ASCC3) is part of the four-part ASC-1 transcriptional cointegrator complex. This complex includes ASCC1 (associated with spinal muscular atrophy with congenital bone fractures 2), TRIP4 (associated with spinal muscular atrophy with congenital bone fractures 1), and ASCC2 (not yet associated with human disease.) ASCC3 encodes a DNA helicase resp…

- Has the Proportion of Combat-Related Amputations That Develop Heterotopic Ossification Increased? [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: HO prevalence in the traumatic amputations of war wounded has increased compared with earlier studies, which is temporally associated with higher rates of increasingly severe injuries due to dismounted blast.

- Preferential transfer of mitochondria from endothelial to cancer cells through tunneling nanotubes modulates chemoresistance. [Journal Article]
- Our vision of cancer has changed during the past decades. Indeed tumors are now perceived as complex entities where tumoral and stromal components interact closely. Among the different elements of tumor stroma the cellular component play a primordial role. Bone Marrow derived mesenchymal cells (MSCs) are attracted to tumor sites and support tumor growth. Endothelial cells (ECs) play a major role …
