  • Measurements of Z-Boson Pair Entanglement in Decays of Higgs Bosons at the ATLAS Experiment. [Journal Article]
    Phys Rev Lett. 2026 Sep 11; 137(11):111804.Aad G, Aakvaag E, … ATLAS CollaborationPR
  • Entanglement is a key property of quantum systems. In this Letter the first measurements of quantum entanglement between spins in pairs of Z bosons are reported, using proton-proton collision data from the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at center-of-mass energies of 13 and 13.6 TeV, recorded with the ATLAS detector. Measurements of angular observables sensitive to ZZ^{*} spin-density-matrix elements…
  • Evidence of ZZγ Production with the ATLAS Detector. [Journal Article]
    Phys Rev Lett. 2026 Aug 28; 137(9):091804.Aad G, Aakvaag E, … ATLAS CollaborationPR
  • This Letter presents the first evidence of the simultaneous production of two Z bosons and one photon with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The measurement is performed using the full Run-2 dataset, recorded from 2015 to 2018, of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^{-1}. The fully leptonic final state w…
  • Caregiver-reported relevance of the BRIEF-2 in youth with Down syndrome: an initial content validity study. [Journal Article]
J Neurodev Disord. 2026 Jul 14. [Online ahead of print]Ludwig NN, Godfrey M, … Jacobson LAJN
  • CONCLUSIONS: This initial evaluation of the content validity of the BRIEF-2 in school-aged youth with DS indicates that there is a range of caregiver viewpoints about measure relevance. Findings highlight the need for more comprehensive studies that engage patients/families and professionals to better understand the broader content validity of the BRIEF-2 in DS across ages and developmental levels to inform any modifications for use in future clinical and research contexts.
  • A template and tutorial for preregistering studies using passive smartphone measures. [Journal Article]
Behav Res Methods. 2024 Dec; 56(8):8289-8307.Langener AM, Siepe BS, … Jacobson NCBR
  • Passive smartphone measures hold significant potential and are increasingly employed in psychological and biomedical research to capture an individual's behavior. These measures involve the near-continuous and unobtrusive collection of data from smartphones without requiring active input from participants. For example, GPS sensors are used to determine the (social) context of a person, and accele…
