- Early Vaginal Reconstruction in Complex Anorectal Malformations: Rationale for an Individualized Approach. [Journal Article]Eur J Pediatr Surg. 2026 Oct 27. [Online ahead of print]EJ
- CONCLUSIONS: Delayed vaginal reconstruction should not be considered the universal standard for patients with anorectal malformations. Surgical timing should be individualized according to anatomical complexity, predicted bowel function, future urological procedures, patient circumstances, and long-term quality-of-life considerations. Management within specialized multidisciplinary centers remains essential for optimizing both functional and reproductive outcomes.

- Bilateral Staghorn Calculi With Stent Encrustation in a Patient With an Ileal Conduit Requiring Staged Endourological Procedures: A Case Report. [Case Reports]
- An ileal conduit represents a surgical method of urinary diversion where the ureters are anastomosed to an isolated segment of the distal ileum, which is subsequently exteriorized as a stoma. Stones in ileal conduits are a recognized late complication of urinary diversion, arising from mucus production, urease-producing infection, and impaired drainage due to uretero-ileal stenosis. We report a 3…
