- TRIM24 Impediment suppresses VSMC modulation and attenuates neointimal hyperplasia via redox and autophagy pathways. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: These findings identify TRIM24 as a key regulator of VSMC proliferation, migration, and phenotypic switching. Targeting TRIM24 promotes autophagy and induces apoptosis, offering a promising strategy to limit neointimal hyperplasia and pathological vascular remodeling.

- CONCLUSIONS: This study suggests that SPI1 promotes intracranial aneurysm formation by inhibiting Wnt5a transcription, thereby promoting activation of the canonical Wnt/β-catenin pathway and driving VSMC phenotypic switching toward a synthetic phenotype. In vivo, SPI1 knockdown alleviated vascular wall injury and inflammation. These findings indicate that the SPI1/Wnt5a signaling axis may represent a potential therapeutic target for intracranial aneurysms.
