- From burnout to resilience: A clinician-codesigned digital mindfulness intervention for nurses and resident physicians. [Journal Article]Internet Interv. 2026 Dec; 46:100989.II
- CONCLUSIONS: These findings replicate and extend previous evidence among physicians, supporting the feasibility and preliminary benefits of brief and self-paced app-based mindfulness training (MT) in addressing burnout and anxiety among both nurses and residents. These pilot results provide a basis for future randomized controlled trials to further evaluate the intervention's effectiveness.

- Associations among problematic smartphone use, depression, and sleep disturbance in Chinese college students: a three-wave longitudinal study. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: These findings suggest that PSU and SD may reflect behavioral and functional impairments associated with depressive symptoms rather than a stable reciprocal relationship. Depressive symptoms may be an important underlying factor in the co-occurrence of PSU and SD. These findings may provide useful implications for early screening and interventions targeting depressive symptoms, attentional/concentration difficulties, and addiction-related PSU symptoms to reduce the co-occurrence of PSU and SD and promote psychological adjustment and sleep health among college students.

- Neurocognitive deficits in children with polysomnographically confirmed obstructive sleep apnea: A systematic review and meta-analysis. [Review]Int J Pediatr Otorhinolaryngol. 2026 Aug 21; 209:112989. [Online ahead of print]IJ
- CONCLUSIONS: PSG-confirmed OSA in school-aged children is associated with a moderate, relatively consistent neurocognitive deficit across diverse populations, test batteries, and severity strata. These findings support neurocognitive screening in children with OSA and a rationale for early intervention.

- Association between serum calcium concentrations and neuropsychological symptoms of migraine patients in early pregnancy. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: Women with migraine in early pregnancy frequently face additional neuropsychological difficulties. A negative correlation was identified between serum calcium levels and diverse neuropsychological symptoms. These findings are correlational and require confirmation in prospective or interventional studies.

- Mapping Multilevel Correlates of Adolescent Mental Health: Evidence from an Ecological Network Study. [Journal Article]
- Rising concerns about youth mental health underscore the need to clarify ecological correlates of broad psychological vulnerability. Using a school-based sample of 8,981 Chinese adolescents, this study examined multilevel correlates of a latent general psychopathology factor (p factor) of mental health difficulties. - The impact of sleep habits on emotional and behavioral problems, quality of life, caregiver depression, and burnout in children with autism spectrum disorder. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: Sleep disturbances in children with ASD were associated with greater behavioral difficulties, lower HRQoL, and poorer maternal mental health. Sleep quality also mediated the associations between child behavioral difficulties, maternal psychological well-being, and HRQoL. These findings highlight the importance of assessing sleep as part of comprehensive, family-centered care for children with ASD.

- Longitudinal trajectories of neurologic symptoms and cognitive associations at 36-months post-hospitalization for COVID-19. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: Neurological symptoms can persist or worsen up to 36 months post- COVID-19 hospitalization, even as some cognitive functions show partial recover. Distinct symptom trajectories and evolving associations with specific cognitive domains and biological outcomes underscore the heterogeneous and dynamic nature of Neuro-PASC, supporting the need for long-term neuropsychological monitoring and informing targeted interventions and mechanistic studies.

- Sleep-wake control with age and neurodegenerative diseases. [Review]Sleep Med Rev. 2026 Aug 14; 90:102352. [Online ahead of print]SM
- Aging causes dramatic alterations in bodily functions. Among them, sleep quality declines with age, particularly in individuals with neurodegenerative diseases. In this review, we first describe alterations in sleep-wake architecture and discuss potential mechanisms underlying sleep disorders that arise with age. We discuss evidence linking sleep disorders with neurodegenerative diseases such as …

- A qualitative study on sleep experiences in late pregnancy among women with a history of perinatal loss. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: Women with a history of perinatal loss often experience poor sleep quality during the third trimester of subsequent pregnancy. Healthcare providers should promptly identify patients' physical discomfort symptoms, monitor their psychological well-being, address maladaptive cognitions and enhance sleep health awareness. Multidimensional support systems and interventions to improve self-coping capacity should be implemented to optimise sleep quality in these women.
