  • First Measurement of the K^{-} Escape Cross Section in the ^{12}C(K^{-},p) Reaction. [Journal Article]
    Phys Rev Lett. 2026 Sep 25; 137(13):132501.Oura F, Ichikawa Y, … J-PARC E42 CollaborationPR
  • We investigated the K[over ¯]-nucleus interaction through the simultaneous measurement of the inclusive ^{12}C(K^{-},p) and exclusive K^{-} escape ^{12}C(K^{-},pK_{esc}^{-}) reactions at 1.8  GeV/c at J-PARC. The present measurement explicitly focuses on the K^{-} escape process for the first time, successfully accomplishing a direct experimental determination of the imaginary part of the K^{-} o…
  • Evidence for Magnon-Assisted Exciton Radiation in a Layered Antiferromagnetic Semiconductor. [Journal Article]
    Phys Rev Lett. 2026 Sep 25; 137(13):136701.Peng Y, Ge Y, … Yang YPR
  • Layered van der Waals (vdW) magnetic semiconductors open a new avenue for exploring intertwined excitonic and magnetic phenomena. Here, we investigate this interplay in the vdW antiferromagnet MnPS_{3}, uncovering an exceptionally long exciton lifetime (∼100  μs) below the Néel temperature (T_{N}). We demonstrate that the exciton lifetime is primarily governed by phonon-assisted nonradiative reco…
  • Combination of ATLAS and CMS Searches for Higgs Boson Pair Production at sqrt[s]=13  TeV. [Journal Article]
    Phys Rev Lett. 2026 Sep 25; 137(13):131803.Aad G, Aakvaag E, … CMS CollaborationPR
  • This Letter presents a combination of searches for Higgs boson pair (HH) production performed by the ATLAS and CMS Collaborations using proton-proton collision datasets recorded at sqrt[s]=13  TeV during the Large Hadron Collider Run 2, corresponding to integrated luminosities ranging between 126 and 140  fb^{-1}. The upper limit at the 95% confidence level on the total HH signal strength, define…
  • Probing the Color-Octet Mechanism via Dihadron Fragmentation in χ_{b} Decays. [Journal Article]
Phys Rev Lett. 2026 Sep 25; 137(13):131903.He ZG, Li G, … Yan BPR
  • The color-octet (CO) mechanism is a cornerstone of nonrelativistic QCD, yet knowledge of its long-distance matrix elements remains limited, preventing stringent tests of the theory. We demonstrate that the Artru-Collins asymmetry in hadronic decays of the P-wave bottomonium state χ_{b2} provides a direct probe of CO dynamics. At leading order, the asymmetry arises exclusively from the CO decay ch…
  • Precision Studies and Searches for CP Asymmetries in the Inclusive Decay Λ_{c}^{+}→ΛX. [Journal Article]
Phys Rev Lett. 2026 Sep 25; 137(13):131902.Ablikim M, Achasov MN, … BESIII CollaborationPR
  • Based on e^{+}e^{-} annihilation data collected with the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies from 4.600 to 4.699 GeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.5  fb^{-1}, we present the first measurement of the longitudinal polarization of Λ hyperon produced in the inclusive decay Λ_{c}^{+}→ΛX, where X denotes any allowed final states. The polarizations are determined to be P_{Λ}=-0.…
  • Nonmonotonicity of Transverse Momentum Correlations in Au+Au Collisions at RHIC. [Journal Article]
Phys Rev Lett. 2026 Sep 25; 137(13):132301.Aboona BE, Adam J, … STAR CollaborationPR
  • Event-by-event transverse momentum correlations are sensitive to the equation of state of strongly interacting matter and are expected to exhibit anomalous fluctuations in the vicinity of the QCD critical point. We report the first measurements of two-particle transverse momentum (p_{T}) correlations for mid-rapidity charged particles in fixed-target Au+Au collisions at nucleon-nucleon center-of-…
  • Menin inhibitors in acute leukemia: Advances and future directions. [Review]
Hematol Oncol Stem Cell Ther. 2026 Apr 01; 19(2):e0007.Nasiri A, Saleh MFM, … Aljurf MHO
  • CONCLUSIONS: Menin inhibitors represent a significant advance for genetically defined acute leukemias, safely delivering clinically meaningful responses in KMT2Ar and NPM1m cases. Ongoing phase 3 studies will clarify if there is a survival benefit and the optimal use. Integrating menin inhibitors with existing therapies, from low-intensity combinations in older adults to intensive chemotherapy backbones in fit patients, is driving unprecedented response rates. Continued research into resistance mechanisms and innovative AI-guided treatment personalization will be essential to extend remission durability. As menin inhibitors move into frontline and pediatric settings, and as maintenance therapy posttransplant, they are positioned to become a new pillar of precision hematology, potentially improving cure rates for high-risk acute leukemia subgroups.
  • Decoding the immune regulation of ovarian aging: mechanisms and therapeutic strategies. [Journal Article]
Hum Reprod Update. 2026 Oct 09. [Online ahead of print]Wang C, Li N, … Jiao XHR
  • CONCLUSIONS: Collectively, the current evidence positions immune dysregulation as a mechanistic driver, rather than a secondary correlate, of ovarian aging. Integrating immune biomarkers into predictive frameworks and designing stratified immunomodulatory trials may shift ovarian aging management from symptomatic hormone replacement toward mechanism-based intervention. Reframing ovarian aging as a modifiable immune-mediated process offers new opportunities to extend female reproductive longevity and the female health span.
