  • CONCLUSIONS: Cochlear implantation with live monitoring by the SmartNav system offers the main advantage of controlling the surgeon's insertion speed, which he can modulate to achieve the softest atraumatic insertion, with a positive training effect resulting in reduced speed over time. Additionally, it demonstrated its effectiveness in detecting tip fold-overs in a safer way than radiologic imaging.

  • CONCLUSIONS: Our findings indicate that CID is characterized by asymmetric FC abnormalities of the bilateral Hb, particularly impaired connectivity between the left Hb and SM and DAN networks, without structural changes.
