- Pediatric and Adult Sinonasal Phosphaturic Mesenchymal Tumors: CDKN2A Copy Number Alterations and Their Association with Recurrence. [Journal Article]Head Neck Pathol. 2026 Oct 06; 20(1).HN
- CONCLUSIONS: Sinonasal PMTs are rare neoplasms that pose significant diagnostic challenges because of their rarity and morphological overlap with other mesenchymal tumors. Recognition of their characteristic histological features, supported by an appropriate immunohistochemical panel and FGFR1 FISH, facilitates accurate diagnosis. This study represents the first report of pediatric sinonasal PMTs and identifies CDKN2A homozygous deletion as a potential marker of recurrent behavior, warranting further investigation in larger cohorts.

- Low-grade osteogenic tumor with secondary aneurysmal bone cyst: Distinguishing osteoblastoma from low-grade osteosarcoma in the setting of noncanonical molecular findings. [Case Reports]
- Low-grade osteogenic tumors in the appendicular skeleton can show overlapping radiologic and histologic features, especially when secondary aneurysmal bone cyst (ABC) change is present. Osteoblastoma (OB) with secondary ABC and low-grade osteosarcoma (LG-OS) with secondary ABC may be difficult to distinguish, and noncanonical molecular alterations such as KMT2D or ZRSR2 variants may further compl…

- Phalangeal fracture in a 60-year-old man after a low-voltages electric shock: A case report. [Case Reports]
- CONCLUSIONS: Although extremely rare, this case suggests that low-voltage electric shocks may occasionally cause fractures in the absence of direct trauma through tetanic muscle contraction. Clinicians should maintain a high index of suspicion for occult fractures in patients with localized finger pain after electric injuries and perform radiographic evaluation promptly to avoid missed diagnoses.

- osteopoikilosis and fracture healing: the bone quantity-quality paradox-a case report and systematic review with synthesis without meta-analysis. [Journal Article]Orthop Rev (Pavia). 2026; 18:165508.OR
- CONCLUSIONS: Osteopoikilosis may mask underlying systemic osteoporosis, as evidenced by fractures occurring in the "spared" bone despite high BMD. TBS serves as a critical diagnostic safeguard to unmask this fragility. Clinically, however, the condition does not compromise biological repair; standard fracture management principles yield excellent outcomes without the need for modified fixation strategies.
