  • Acromial morphology: reliability of computer tomography-based assessment and association with age: a study of 420 patients. [Journal Article]
    JSES Int. 2026 Jul; 10(4):101745.Gagnard Y, Baldairon F, … Clavert PJI
  • CONCLUSIONS: Even with optimized CT imaging, the Bigliani classification demonstrated good intrarater reliability but poor inter-rater reliability for the assessment of acromial morphology. A significant association between age and acromial morphology was identified. These results should be interpreted with caution, as this study was designed as a methodological evaluation of a widely used classification system rather than to establish clinical or causal relationships, with potential implications for clinical decision-making and research reproducibility.
  • The current state of computed tomography in osteoarthritis research. [Review]
    JBMR Plus. 2026 Jul; 10(7):ziag095.Yoshikawa R, Boddu A, … Segal NAJP
  • CT has evolved into a complementary tool for three-dimensional (3-D) structural assessment in OA research. This review highlights advances across key domains of CT-based OA imaging: structural features, shape modeling, alignment, contact stress modeling, bone morphometry and BMD, articular cartilage, meniscus, and combination with other modalities. CT's high-resolution bone visualization enables …
  • Standardized Knee Meniscus MRI Reporting: An Interdisciplinary Delphi Consensus. [Review]
Radiology. 2026 Jun; 319(3):e251833.Nguyen JC, Patel VS, … Boutin RDR
  • Thirty-three panelists from 23 institutions participated in a three-round Delphi consensus process to establish interdisciplinary guidelines for reporting knee MRI findings on 11 meniscus topics: MRI criteria for tears, possible tears, tear patterns, tear descriptors, intrameniscal descriptors, meniscal roots, posteromedial meniscocapsular junction, meniscus extrusion, assessment of the postopera…
  • Approach to Revision Hip Arthroscopy: Tips and Tricks. [Journal Article]
Video J Sports Med. 2026; 6(3):26350254261429888.Nguyen CN, Drake JH, Spiker AMVJ
  • CONCLUSIONS: When revision hip arthroscopy is appropriately indicated and performed, particularly with attention to residual bony impingement, labral pathology, and capsular integrity, it is a reliable option for patients with failed primary surgeries.
