  • CONCLUSIONS: Femtosecond label-free imaging provides rapid, morphologically concordant pathological assessment with significant workflow advantages over conventional frozen-section analysis. Depth-scanning capability addresses sampling limitations inherent to single-plane evaluation. Exploratory artificial intelligence models demonstrate feasibility for intraoperative prediction of high-risk pathological features in esophageal cancer; however, these results are preliminary and require validation in larger, multicenter cohorts before clinical deployment.

  • CONCLUSIONS: These observations are consistent with the physiological plausibility that asymmetric venous drainage contributed to the divergent systemic hemodynamic phenotypes observed in the two twins. Within a conceptual Guyton-based physiological framework, progressive modification of the shared venous compartment may have altered venous return conditions and thereby influenced systemic arterial pressure. Although causal inference cannot be established from a single observational case, this study suggests that shared venous architecture may represent an underrecognized contributor to systemic hemodynamic behavior in rare human circulatory systems involving shared venous drainage.

  • CONCLUSIONS: The toolkit is uniquely situated to support learning communities. It includes a dynamic design, is regularly updated, and is accessible free of cost. Additionally, unlike a literature search, the toolkit is developed with usability in mind and includes tools beyond peer-reviewed literature, curated by LHS experts. The next steps are to develop and action a dissemination plan based on implementation science principles to increase the reach and adoption of the toolkit.
