  • CONCLUSIONS: RLRL exerted refractive state-dependent effects on ocular growth in guinea pigs, attenuating myopic progression under myopic conditions and promoting refractive emmetropization under hyperopic conditions. Transcriptomic analyses further suggested that these effects may be associated with refractive state-dependent changes in the choroidal microenvironment, with inflammation-related responses mainly observed under myopic conditions and melanin metabolism-related changes mainly observed under hyperopic conditions.

  • CONCLUSIONS: In post-LVC eyes with TKave - Kave between 0.00 and 0.06, H-LVC formulas provide the most accurate refractive outcomes, independent of reported treatment type. These findings challenge reliance on historical LVC classification for formula selection and support a measurement-driven approach in which biometry-guided formula selection improves outcomes when history is unreliable in ambiguous post-LVC eyes.

  • CONCLUSIONS: Age was the strongest predictor of hyperopic shift. Mission duration and bodyweight showed weaker positive associations.   • CONCLUSIONS: In a real-world wavefront-guided refractive surgery cohort, both i-LASIK and wfPRK delivered comparably high safety and efficacy. The strongest determinant of both indices was preoperative BCVA logMAR, while preoperative astigmatism and high myopia showed small but consistent independent contributions. The absence of an independent age, sex, or technique effect supports an indication-based rather than procedure-based decision framework and a more nuanced view of refractive surgery outcome prediction.
