- CONCLUSIONS: This study provides the first X-ray-based quantification of lumbar spine, pelvic, and femur posture in professional motorsports drivers seated in real-world race environments. The data establishes representative spinal curvature, posture corridors, and geometry critical for accurate HBM posturing. Salient findings include: 1. Driver weight is correlated to lumbar posture and 2. Both kyphotic and lordotic lumbar spine curvature was observed within the sample. These data can be used to support accurate HBM posturing for improved assessment of spinal injury mechanisms and countermeasure development.

- CONCLUSIONS: A minimally invasive, anterior-to- psoas approach may decrease morbidity of approach related complications. Both patients demonstrated kyphotic deformity correction with follow-up records suggesting favorable outcomes.

- The Lower Lordotic Arch Is a Driver of Pelvic Positioning and Inflection Point Migration in Adult Spinal Deformity: A Retrospective Cohort Analysis. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: SS measurements were correlated with LLA before and after surgery. This relationship was consistent when observing changes in SS versus changes in the LLA induced by deformity correction, and these relationships were further strengthened when comparing SS to LLA-S1 instead of LLA. LLA was also found to rostrally migrate the IP position. Increasing lordosis in the LLA is a major driver of increasing SS without affecting PI-and by extension decreasing pelvic tilt-in ASD correction.

- Offset sublaminar hook is an efficient tool for the prevention of distal junctional failure after kyphotic deformity correction. [Multicenter Study]
- CONCLUSIONS: This is the first paper to propose offset sublaminar hook as a safe and efficient tool for protection of the distal end of the construct in kyphotic ASD surgery when not going down to the pelvis. - Bilateral rib-to-pelvis growth-friendly spinal surgery for congenital kyphosis in the child with myelomeningocele delays but does not prevent a definitive procedure. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: The bilateral rib-to-pelvis surgical procedure produced modest deformity correction and spinal growth, and prevented deformity progression. It delayed but did not eliminate the need for spine-based deformity correction, and was associated with the significant morbidity of distraction-based growth-friendly spinal surgery. The rib-based technique may have a role in a child with myelomeningocele kyphosis when surgical intervention is required in the very young.
