J Neurointerv Surg. 2026 Oct 09. [Online ahead of print]Suresh VA, Srinivasan S, … Borg NJN
  • An 18-year-old female presented with headaches, transient visual obscurations, and papilledema secondary to a primary superior sagittal sinus (SSS) stenosis caused by compression from a presumed parasagittal meningioma, with an associated secondary dominant transverse-sigmoid junction (TSJ) stenosis.1 2 3 Initial venous manometry demonstrated a hemodynamically significant pressure gradient across…
  • Blood heavy metal levels and bone turnover markers in Korean elementary school children. [Journal Article]
Cent Eur J Public Health. 2026 Sep; 34(3):177-184.Baek K, Park CCE
  • CONCLUSIONS: Blood Pb was associated with higher bone turnover in children at concentrations lower than those previously reported for Korean children of similar age, involving both bone resorption and formation. Because the design was cross-sectional and increased bone remodelling may itself mobilise skeletal Pb, the direction of this relationship cannot be determined, and longitudinal research is warranted.
  • Nickel-Glycerolate/MOF-Based Electrode Materials for Energy Storage and Water-Splitting Applications. [Journal Article]
ACS Omega. 2026 Oct 06; 11(39):59762-59772.Schlag Durães Campos I, Gregório Banze A, … Martins PRAO
  • Herein, binary coordination compounds based on Ni-Gly/ZIF-67 and Ni-Gly/CoFe-ZIF-67 were employed as electrode materials for energy storage and water-splitting applications, respectively. The structure and morphology of the binary electrodes were characterized by XRD, XPS, and SEM. Electrochemical studies (cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy) revealed that the binary mat…
